Robert R. Mills left this world on Dec. 27, 2017. He was born on June 14, 1934 in St. Augustine, FL to Robert Dawson Mills and Nell Thelma Middlebrook Mills. He spent most of his life in Smyrna and Marietta area. He taught himself how to repair electrical equipment and read schematics in the early 1950's when Television and Radio were still powered by tubes. He raised several families, his first with Catherine Ann Hughes Mills; of that marriage his daughter, Eleanor Ann Mills and sons Brian Douglas Mills and Robert Andrew Mills survive him. He taught them to love the outdoors and appreciate the natural world. He raised a second family with Charlotte Myers Mills, her adopted children David, Esther, Brooke and Mark who also survive him. He is survived by his granddaughter Kelley Mills Cook and husband Henry Cook and their four daughters: Hannah, Mary, Tina and Lily; His grandson Christopher Mills and Lauren W. Mills and soon to be baby Abigail. He will be sorely missed but has left a treasure trove of photographic memories that span 70 years. His daughter and granddaughter continue the photographic traditions into the next generation.

A private burial will take place at Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta, GA.  Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation Services, Acworth, GA.
