Arthur William Thalacker, Jr.

Arthur William Thalacker, Jr.. of Douglasville, GA passed away Thursday, February 4, 2022.  Art was born on May 1, 1948 to the late Arthur and Beaulah Thalacker.  Art is survived by his beautiful wife of 52 years Nancy Gail Waller Thalacker, sons Eric Thalacker (Kristen), Karl Thalacker and brother, Jim Thamacker.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Larry & Frank Thalacker.  Art was an amazon husband and father with a sense of humor that made the world smile and laugh.  He loved the University of Alabama, the Atlanta Braves and and spent his free time coaching his sons Eric and Karl through their childhood.  Art also served in the U.S Navy during the Vietnam War.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Georgia Funeral Care, in Acworth, GA.  Condolences can be left at www.GeorgiaFuneralCare.com
