Marion Taylor Beert "Queen Marion" Jan 26, 1929 - Dec 23, 2017
At 4:32pm on December 23, 2017 our loving mother and friend, Matriarch Marion Beert, has slipped quietly into everlasting life. Her love, strength and joy will inspire us forever. As she moved through the last weeks of her life she told us all, "if I don't make it through the night, it's been a wonderful ride and I love you All." And we all heard many, many times, "I am one lucky Lady."
One friend of hers recently told me that over the 15 years that she knew my mom, she never heard her say a harsh word about anyone. When the gossip would start around the morning coffee table, mom would not participate. She always looked for the best in everyone. Even when she was in ER on her last visit, she always had something kind to say to everyone who walked into the room. One nurse told her "you are the perkiest sick person I've ever seen." Mom smiled.
Even though her body wore out and she succumbed to age and decline, her amazing spirit and her love will live on for ever!
Expressions of sympathy can be made by donation to the Tranquility Hospice on Dickson Avenue in Marietta Ga, whose incredibly amazing staff took loving care of our mother.
We would like to take this time to thank all of you who allowed God to use you as a tool of comfort and strength.
Thank you for your kind and comforting words.
Thank you for your shoulder you gave us to lean on.
Thank you for the card you sent that told us you cared.
Thank you for the love you gave, letting us know if we needed you, you'd be right there.
Thank you for the prayers you prayed reminding us that God was close.
