G. Keene Anderson

G. Keene Anderson passed away May 12, 2019.  He is survived by his best friend and the love his life and wife Cindy, daughters Michelle L. Scileppi of Cartersville, Georgia and Bethany T. Anderson of Lilburn, Georgia.  Keene‘s pride and joy were his grandchildren Jared L. and Bailey Scileppi, Aaron J. Scileppi, Nathan R. Lee, Talmage J. Lee, and great-grandson Lucas C. Scileppi.  

Keene was born May 27, 1947 in Eureka, Humboldt, California to Alethe Vivian Still and Lewis Edward Anderson. He lived among the Redwoods until he joined the US Navy and served honorably for four years during the Vietnam War.  He had a career as a communication technician with AT&T for 47 years. Ham radios were a fulfilling hobby for him. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was an important part of how he lived his life. His legacy is one of love, faith, harmony, patriotism, and service.   

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16th from 6 to 8 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 870 Peeples Road, Cartersville, GA.

A celebration of his life will be on Friday, May 17th at 11 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 870 Peeples Road, Cartersville, GA 30121.

Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery located at 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA 30114 on May 28 at 11 AM.
