James C. Camp

James Carlton Camp, age 61, passed away on March 10, 2019.  He was born on August 27, 1957.  He was known to most as Jimmy or Red, for his blazing red hair.

He had a deep love for the lake. He spent many days and nights on the family house boat in Lake Allatoona. He was known for his outgoing personality and was the life of the party. You could always find him cutting up and joking around at family events. He valued his time with his children and close friends. In his last few days James came to know the Lord as his savior and rejoiced in telling his family.

James was preceded in death by his mother Louise Annette Dickerson Camp.  He is survived by his loving children; son, James Carlton Camp Jr and wife Kya Lei Camp; daughter,  Robin Camp Kell and husband Johnathan  James Kell. He is also survived by his grandson, Riley Carlton Camp;  father, James Calvin Camp;  brother, Homer Calvin Camp and sister, Hazel Cecelia Camp.

The family will be having a memorial service at Georgia Funeral Care on Saturday, March 16th at 6pm with Dr. David Joyner.  Visitation will immediately follow memorial service.
