KATHERINE (KAY) LOUISE HENDRICK DUNKIN
6/14/39 - 6/29/19
Katherine (Kay) Dunkin passed away at home on June 29, 2019. She lived in Kennesaw, Georgia. Kay was preceded in death by her Husband, Bill Dunkin. She leaves behind her daughter and her husband, Libby and Shawn Mines, two grandsons, Zack Mines and Dillon Mines, step-son, Bob Dunkin, step grand and great grand children, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Kay was born in Detroit, Michigan and lived in many places before settling in Marietta, GA and making it home. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and jack of all trades. Her crafting and seamstress talents were amazing. Kay served in the US Air Force and was a proud veteran. She stayed involved in many clubs, guilds and charities all of her life. She tried to take care of the world and will be dearly missed.
Kay’s ashes will be laid to rest in a private service at the City of Kennesaw Cemetery, Kennesaw GA. In lieu of flowers - please make donations to Quilts for Kids - http://www.quiltsforkids.org/
