Kenneth “Kenny” George Vascovich Jr

Kenneth “Kenny” George Vascovich Jr., a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and a United States Army disabled veteran, passed away and went home to be with the lord on June 17, 2021. He was a resident of Calhoun, Georgia. Kenneth was born on August 10, 1959, in Alexandria, Virginia, to a member of the United States Army, Kenneth George Vascovich and Marie Elizabeth Baxter.

Kenny had been battling like the true warrior in which he was; several serious health problems in recent years. Despite the overwhelming pain in which he suffered, Kenny kept a smile on his face, a joke coming from his lips, oftentimes sang out loud, and;  did his best to make those which he loved to smile. He continued to encourage those around him. Kenny was a loving, caring, humorous, generous, and selfless man who indicated that he did not desire for those whom he loved to shed tears in despair over him. Instead, he indicated that he would rather everyone have a loud party and celebrate his life. We believe that this is a small demonstration of the selfless man in which we all knew, loved, and cherished!

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth George Vascovich, his mother, Marie Elizabeth Davis, his grandmother Juanita Baxter, a grandfather, George Baxter, and a half-brother, David Davis.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Lisa Vascovich, four children; his only daughter Kendra Marie Snyder, sons; Kevin Gregory Vascovich, Steven Daniel Vascovich, and Cameron Dale Vascovich, a half brother, Clark Revlet Davis. Kenny had a total of five grandchildren, Dalton Kent Vascovich, Dylan Ray Vascovich, D’aire Demont Thomas, Drayvan Ty Thomas, and Savannah Marie Vascovich. He's also survived by his three cousins, Billy Jay Baxter, Andy Sousa, and Linda Sousa.

Kenny’s idea of a good time consisted of sitting on the creek or beach with a fishing pole in one hand and a cold beer in the other hand. He enjoyed being on the water very much. One of his most fond memories in recent years was out on a boat enjoying the sunshine and the water.

"When tomorrow starts WITHOUT ME, don't think we're far apart. For every time you think of me, I'm here in your Heart."

A memorial service will be held on August 10, 2021, at 1:30 PM at Legacy Church, 1040 Blackwell Road, Marietta, Georgia 30066.
