Shirley Lee Maggert

MAGGERT, Shirley Lee, age 80, passed away Friday, April 24, 2019.  Shirley was born to Henry and Estella Cross on July 8, 1938 in Ogallala, Nebraska.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, spending lot of time working on family history.   She knew families can be together forever.  Shirley loved the beaches in California (lived most of her life), family history trips to Salt Lake City, and time spent with her family.  When asked what her great accomplishment was she responded, “my son”.  Her favorite memory was when she and Kurt brought their son, Kevin, home.  Shirley is survived by her brother, Larry Cross; husband – Kurtiss Maggert; sons Kyle and Kevin Maggert; daughter in law Tina Maggert; grandchildren – Brittanie Kelly, Makayla, Madison, Bethany, Corbitt, and Callista Maggert.

Funeral service will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery on May 8.  In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to the missionary fund (in memory of Shirley Maggert) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at https://ldsp-pay.ldschurch.org/donations/lds-church/missionary-fund.html?cde2=807-home&
