Thomas J. Carnes beloved husband, Daddy and Pawpaw slipped beyond the curtain of time March 5, 2018 while at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He had dedicated his life to serving the Lord and taking care of his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love in his wife of 48 years Sharon; his children: Steve, Melissa, Sharon Rose, Abigail, Joseph (Misty), Benjamin(Tabbatha), Rebekah, Rachel, Sarah (Peter), and Esther; his grandchildren Shay, Taylor, Allen, Justin, Dylan, Adrian, Stephen, Chuck, David, Armond, Zakk, Criss, Abbie, Anna, Katie, Bethany, Patrick, Michael, JoHannah, Tucker, Harley, Chuma, Brandi, Elijah, Noah, Ellison, Easton; his sister's Madge, Pallie, Thanna, brother John and a lifetime of cherished friendships. 

His going home celebration will be held Thursday March 8, 2018 at Gospel Assembly located at 98 Dean Goss Drive in Jasper GA at 11am and will be officiated by Brother JT Padgett.
