Earl Ray Ashby, 81 of Georgia formerly of Logan County, Ky. departed this earth peacefully on January 14, 2021.

He was an employee of Yellow Freight Trucking Company for many years, lived in the Atlanta area and was a member of Cassville Baptist Church. One of his favorite committees after retirement was hospitality where he delivered meals to the elderly weekly. 

He is survived by his son, Tony Ashby and wife DeDe; three daughters, Kathy Paige and husband Glenn, Karen Hinton, Danielle Rieger and husband Didier, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, his sister Patsy Poore and husband Russell.

Due to COVID, a formal memorial has been postponed. The final resting place will be Russellville Memorial Gardens in Russellville, Ky.
