Joan Lea Terry
Joan Lea Terry passed away peacefully at home in Dallas, GA after a short illness, she was 88 years old.
Joan was a loving mother who always had a kind words to everyone.

She was an artist, a poet and loved writing short stories.  She felt very strongly about family and community service.

She was married to Richard H Spears, now deceased, and they have seven children.  Deborah Messer Matthews, Clifford Spears, Richard Spears, Mary Dufek, Raymond Spears, and Daniel Spears.  She was preceded in death by husband Richard H. Spears, Bob Terry, second husband and grandson, Kevin A. Messer.  She has nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday (February 1st) at St. Clare Catholic Church located at 6301 Cedarcrest Rd. Acworth, GA 30101, a reception will follow.  Mrs. Terry will be buried in Cincinnati OH at a later date.
