Betty Storey

Betty Cantrell Storey, 88, passed away peacefully on October 22nd, 2021.

She was born in Bartow County, Georgia to James C. and Irene Morris Cantrell on February 27th, 1933.  The family relocated to Cobb County where she graduated from Acworth High School in 1950.  For most of her working career, she was employed by Lockheed Martin where she retired in 1994.  An active member of the First Baptist Church of Kennesaw, she loved the Lord, her family, and had a passion for gardening and the University of Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Fred Daniel Storey, Sr.  She is survived by her son Fred Daniel Storey, Jr and his wife Cindy, of Kennesaw.  Her only surviving sibling is her sister Lois Cantrell Williams of Kennesaw, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at later date.  Donations in her memory can be made to the First Baptist Church of Kennesaw.
