Lisa Ann Bryant Willett

Lisa Ann Bryant Willett, 58, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away peacefully on September 9, 2019, after a courageous seven year battle with melanoma.  While our hearts are breaking at the thought of life here without her, we rejoice knowing that she is free from pain and is now with her Lord and Savior.

Lisa was born on July 24, 1961 in Newnan, GA.  She was raised in Rome, Georgia, graduating with honors from West Rome High School in 1979. She is a 1983 graduate of Shorter College (now University) with a BS in Accounting.

Lisa married the love of her life, Scott Willett on April 20, 1991.  After working for Home Federal Bank for many years, she chose to stay home and dedicated her life to raising her family and serving her Lord.  She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock and enjoyed many years of study and service with Community Bible Study (CBS) as the treasurer and childcare coordinator.  Lisa loved spending time with family and friends.  In her free time she enjoyed tennis, reading, scrapbooking, going to the movies, traveling, and cooking.  Her home was her haven and she excelled at making it a beautiful, warm and welcoming place for her family.

Lisa was known by her quiet and humble spirit, her love for God and her family, and her beautiful smile in all circumstances.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Scott Willett, sons Matt and Ben, her mother Linda Morris of Rome, Georgia, father and step-mother Ned and Linda Bryant of Jesup, Georgia, and sister and brother-in-law Lori and Bill Turner of Rome, Georgia.  In addition, she leaves behind her father and mother-in-law Mike and Brenda Willett of Calhoun, Georgia, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Amber and David Yarborough of St. Simons Island, Georgia, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bryan and Julie Willett of Toccoa, Georgia, and two nieces and five nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 3 to 3:45pm, with a Memorial Service following at 4pm.  First Baptist Church Woodstock Chapel - Building A, 11905 Hwy 92, Woodstock, GA 30188.
