Cheryl D. Pate-Woody, a.k.a. “Cousin”, 61 of Cartersville,passed away June 12, 2019 in her sleep at home after a long struggle with COPDand various other illnesses. She is survived by her Mother, Marcelle A. Jones(Clackum) and MANY “special cousins and friends”. Cheryl is also survived by GaryGlover and the “luv” of her life, Raiford Duncan. She was preceded in death byher husband, Winston Woody and her father, Denver Pate. Pastors Jody Harrisonand Mike Freeman will be presiding over services to be held at Georgia FuneralCare & Cremation Services in Acworth, Georgia, on Monday, June 17, 2019.Viewing will be at 5PM. Service at 7PM. Piano Music and song provided by MsKathy Thomas and of course, “Rod Stewart”. Interment will be at GeorgiaNational Cemetery at a TBD date. Donations are being accepted at New LifeCommunity Church.
