Donna "Joann" Vandyke

Donna "Joann" Vandyke was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Born October 2, 1948 in Cullman Alabama went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2020, she passed peacefully at home with her family by her side.

Joann is survived by her husband of 22 years Jimmy Ray Vandyke, her sons Kermit Dezearn (fiancé Shannon) and Brian Hartung (wife Kim), her daughter Angela Smith (husband Barry), her mother Erma Parnell, her sister Debbie Gibson, her brother Dale Parris (wife Phyllis), granddaughter Brandi Meadows (husband Hamilton), and her 4 great granddaughters Eliana, Adeline, Briella, Annabelle.

Joann was a lifelong member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020, 2 PM, in the chapel of Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 S. Main St., Acworth, GA.  The family will receive friends before the service starting at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
