On the morning of July 27, 2021, Faye Williamson of Acworth, GA went home to see Jesus at the age of 88 years old. Faye was born to Gordon and Annie in 1933 and grew up in Brundidge, AL graduating from Pike County High School. She got married and divorced and lived in Ariton, AL, Ft. McClellan, AL, Phenix City, AL, and New Orleans, LA before coming to Acworth, GA. Faye owned and operated a daycare in her home for 43 years!!!! And had an amazing influence on so many children which she loved dearly. Faye had 3 children - Susan, Jennifer, and Rachel and 8 grandchildren whom she loved very much. Faye was a strong, independent lady who will be missed by many.
Faye is preceded in death by her father-Gordon, mother-Annie and sister-Dot. She is survived by her three children - Susan, Jennifer, and Rachel and her grandkids - Ryan, Blake, Taylor, Grant, Madison, Hunter, Abigail, and Anna as well as her sisters - Betty and Mary.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 30th, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Georgia Funeral Care - 4671 S. Main Street - Acworth, GA, and service will be held immediately following at 7 pm. Faye will be buried in Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge, AL.
