Muriel (Myrt) passed away peacefully under hospice care. She was preceded in death by her parents Dick and Mary Cartwright, husband Ed Wharff, as well as 3 brothers. She is survived by her children Susan Kimbell (Kevin), Laura Borkey (David) and Chip Wharff (Paula) as well as 6 brothers and sisters, 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Muriel was the 2nd oldest of 10 children. Family, together with helping others, was always a priority. On any given day you could find her making a meal for a neighbor, taking sandwiches to the homeless or crocheting a baby blanket for family or friends. Myrt loved to be outdoors gardening and fishing. She also loved sports! Myrt loved to play softball, tennis and golf. If she couldn’t play, she was supporting those that could.
A memorial service will be scheduled later this year when family and friends can gather to celebrate Myrt.
