Carol Ann Goyette

Carol Ann Goyette, 83, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Carol was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1940 to the late Ralph and Marie Goedde. She was the sister of Virginia Johnson, Mary Burns, Paul Goedde, and John Goedde and was preceded in death by her brother Richard Goedde.

Carol was married to her loving and devoted husband of 64 years Joseph C. Goyette, Jr. She was the beloved mother of Jennifer (Johnny) Bollen of Bremen, Georgia, and Anne Goyette (Lee Altman) of Smyrna, Georgia.

She was the proud grandmother of Katie Thomas of Sandy Springs, Georgia, Brent (Kylie) Thomas of Peachtree Corners, Georgia, Elizabeth (Rob) Bollen-Calhoun of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Justin (Nicole) Bollen of Bremen, Georgia. She was the smitten great-grandmother of Florence Mae Bollen, Etta Louise Thomas, David McCann Thomas, and Alexandra Bollen.

A gifted artist, she will be remembered for her wit, beauty, and knack for telling it like it is. She will be greatly missed by all who know her.

A visitation will be held for family and friends on Sunday, April 21st from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 South Main Street, Acworth, Georgia 30101.
