Elliott Gregory Garner, 56 of Kennesaw, GA, and formerly of Jefferson, GA died on March 23rd after medical complications as a result of a heart attack.
Greg was born in Valdosta, Georgia and was the son of Elliott F. Garner of Ray City, GA and the late Carol Tucker Garner. He was an avid motorcyclist, field target enthusiast and knife maker. Greg enjoyed a lengthy career in the GIS industry where he had many wonderful friends and colleagues.
He is survived by his wife, Brandie Goodman Garner, 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Greg was predeceased by a sister, Tammy Marshall, and is survived by brothers Gary Garner and Daniel Garner.Greg was the proud father of sons Ethan Garner, Greenville, SC and Logan Garner, Kennesaw, GA. and daughter, Brandi Strickland of Hattiesburg, MS, and grandfather to her children, Lilyann and CJ.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service for Greg will be held in the future. Greg was a lifetime supporter of St. Jude, and a memorial fund has been set up in his honor.
