Homer Alvin Young, Jr aka Chip

Homer Alvin Young, Jr (aka Chip) passed away unexpectedly on April 24,2023.

Homer was born January 9, 1952 to Homer Alvin Young Sr and Jackie House Young in Atlanta, Ga.  He grew up in Atlanta and attended Chamblee High School class of 1970.

Homer is survived by his wife Glenda Lowery Young and step daughter Patricia Ladner and step grandchildren.  By his sister Laura Young Harrison and Wesley Harrison and nieces, Jessica Nix, Jaclyn Riddle,  Jamie Wilkinson, Brooke Young and nephew Sam Young and families.

He was proceeded by his brother Ben Young, and many friends.

Homer was a comedian, harmonica player, kind and fun soul and will be missed and remembered by many. We will always love and miss you until we can meet again.

A celebration of life is being planned for the near future.
