Jean McPherson Jones, 89, of Cartersville, GA, joined the Lord on December 22, 2023, in Emerson, GA. She was born on February 11, 1934 to Alvin Clarence McPherson and Cora McPherson. Jean was the beloved wife of Jack Jones, married for 69 years and together they shared a lifetime of love and memories.

Jean is survived by her Husband- Jack Jones, Son - Dennis Jones, Granddaughter - Caleigh Jones-Carr,  Great Granddaughter, Lyra Jones-Carr, Grandson - Tyler Jones, Sisters - Joyce Scoggins, Janice Cochran and Judy Knight and her special friend/caregiver - Anita Haney.

She is preceded in death by her son - Thomas Jones, Grandson - Thomas Jones, Jr, Grandson - Dennis McCarty Jones, Brothers - Alvin Clarence McPherson, Jr and Joe McPherson

With her husband Jack, Jean had a fulfilling career as a lifelong, full-time Realtor. Her dedication and passion for her work were evident in every relationship. She was known for her kindness, expertise, professionalism, and commitment to helping others. She treated all her clients and peers like family.

Outside of her career, Jean had a love for life and cherished spending quality time with her family. Together, they created countless memories filled with laughter, love, and support.

Jean found solace and inspiration in her faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodstock. Her relationship with the Lord was important to her, and she found comfort and guidance in His word.

Jean's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was a precious gift, filled with hope, strength, and grace. She will be remembered as someone who made the world a kinder and better place. Her legacy of love will forever be treasured by her family and friends.

No services will be held to honor Jean's life. In this time of mourning, may her loved ones find peace in the memories they shared with her.
