Melvin “Bebe” Eugene Siegel

Melvin “Bebe” Eugene Siegel, born November 7, 1932, passed away on January 10, 2024, and is now with the love of his life, Zelda Grodsky Siegel, and son Leslie Alan Siegel.

Mel was the son of Nathan and Shirley Cohen Siegel and was born in Clayton, Missouri. He was a talented athlete and played football for Washington University (St. Louis), University of Alabama and Philadelphia Eagles.

Mel also loved his role as Head Cashier at his so loved The Corner Deli in downtown Alpharetta, Georgia for over 15 years, where he and Zelda made so many lasting loving friendships with all their customers. He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Renee Siegel and son, Lance Richard Siegel.

He is also survived by two grandchildren Justin Ryan Siegel and Hillary Brooke Siegel and great grandchildren Jordan, Cardell and Makayla and many other cousins and friends. He had a great ability to make others smile and his sense of humor will be missed by his family and friends. We will Love you forever Dad!
