Agnes Ruth Ellis “Billie” Skinner

Agnes “Billie” Skinner, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 26, 2018 following an extended illness. Born in Birmingham, AL in April of 1924 to William and Bertie Mae Ellis she married James C. Skinner. Together they raised 4 children. Mrs. Skinner is preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Anita Joyce Taul, and her sister, Lona Mildred Blackstone. She is survived by her children Terry L. Skinner (Mary Beth) of Fairhope AL, Janice S. Brown (Denman) of Marietta, GA and Paul K. Skinner (Tara) of Grand Prarie, Texas and her brother James Ellis. Mrs. Skinner has 5 Grandchildren, Rachel (Brown) Freeman (Jason), Katie (Skinner) Conklin (Andy), Deborah (Brown) Long (James R.), Tate Skinner (Heather), and Sarah (Brown) Long (James W.) and 11 Great-Grandchildren, Kylie Bree and Layne Freeman, Charley Paige and Levi Conklin, Brodie, Malcolm and Elliott Long, Kelcie Skinner, Evelina and Georgia Long, with a baby sister due in May.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to The Presbyterian Home for Children, Talladega, AL.
