Alfred William Bonner, 65, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away on January 4, 2026. Born on December 4, 1960, Alfred lived a full and hardworking life marked by love, perseverance, and deep devotion to his family. He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Bonner; his first wife, Kathy Bonner; his brother, James Bonner; and his grandson, Ethan Hendricks.

 He is survived by his mother, Hazel Bonner Strickland; his wife, Dubraska Bonner (Urdaneta); his children, Jason (Cynthia) Bonner, Brandy Bonner, and Camila Galban; and his granddaughters, Jalynn Hendricks, Makayla (Blake) Bowie, and Milea Bonner. He also leaves behind his brother, Kenneth (Pam) Bonner; his sister, Marilyn (Herman) Wigley; his great-grandchildren, Ethan Asher, Barrett, and Preslea; as well as many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly. 

Alfred worked in many trades throughout his life—from rebuilding auto parts, to running his own roofing business, to eventually building houses. No matter the job, he approached every task with pride, determination, and a strong work ethic. He was always eager for the next project and never shied away from hard work.Outside of work, Alfred loved to fish, travel, play cards, and shoot pool. He often had a loyal dog by his side, and he cherished the simple joys that made life meaningful. Above all, family was at the center of everything he did. He was fiercely protective, endlessly supportive, and always willing to do whatever it took to provide for those he loved.

A visitation will be held on January 11, 2026, at Georgia Funeral Care in Acworth, GA beginning at 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Alfred’s legacy of love, strength, and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
