Beverly (Bev) Carol DeLong (Snider) born on June 6, 1953, passed peacefully on November 10, 2022. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded by her mother, Charlotte Snider (Burkhardt), and her father, Gilbert Snider. She is survived by her daughter, son, sisters, brother and two grandchildren, who know her as Omie, and her beloved fur babies, Abbi (dog) and Zoe (cat). Beverly was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana where she attended school and later married the father of her children, George DeLong, also of Indianapolis. She went on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Nursing and practiced nursing for 15 years in Georgia. Her faith became a larger factor in life and lead her to seminary school in Tennessee. Ultimately Rome, Georgia called her back to the mountains she loved where she resided for several years before passing peacefully with the wings of an angel.
