Billy (Bill) Royce Langford, Jr.

December 14, 1960 — January 5, 2026

Calhoun, GA

Billy Royce Langford Jr., known to family and friends as Bill, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on January 5, 2026. Bill was a devoted husband, father, brother, son-in-law, and a cherished friend to so many.

Bill will be remembered for his big heart, his love for long motorcycle rides through winding mountain roads, the absolute best BBQ, and his larger-than-life personality. He had a way of making people feel truly seen, cared for, and encouraged, and his love for his family was evident in everything he did.

Bill was a man of deep and steadfast faith. Even in seasons when life was hard and the road felt rough or uncertain, he held firmly to his faith and trusted God through it all. That faith anchored him, strengthened him, and shaped the way he loved and showed up for others. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.

He will forever be known as Bill Langford — The Man. The Myth. The Legend.

A man of valor.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Renee Langford; his daughters, Haley Culp (Jordan Culp) and Chelsi Martin (Connor Martin); his cherished grandchildren, Sarahlynn Roksandich, Wyatt Roksandich, Elijah Roksandich, and Alina Culp; and his mother-in-law, Julie Jackson.

He is also lovingly remembered by his bonus family: Alica Dupre; Anna and Kingston Combs; Mekalia; James and Scarlett Blackledge; and Misty Raines Claypole and family, along with extended family members and many dear friends who became family along the way and will forever carry his memory with them.

A funeral service celebrating Bill’s life will be held on January 9, 2026, at The Church at Liberty Square, with Pastor Brad Cooper officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will include: John Sargent, Donnie Reeves, Mile Millwood, Scott Ray, Kevin Avery, and Jackie Waits. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Blackwell. These gentlemen are asked to meet at Liberty Square Church in Cartersville, Ga on Friday morning at 9:30 AM

Following the service, family and friends who wish may proceed to Providence Cemetery for the committal service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bill’s memory to one of the following:

  • A local food bank
  • A local homeless shelter
  • A local church, specifically the youth group

Arrangements are entrusted to Georgia Funeral Care.

The family sincerely thanks everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this time.
