Candie Sampson

Mrs Candie Sampson, age 76, of Canton Georgia went to heaven on April 29, 2025. She is survived by her husband Russ Sampson, sister Cristy McClure, brother Steve Reisner, brother Ken Reisner, daughter Amanda Acree, and son Jonathan Sampson. Candie was a devoted military wife, loving mother to three children and adoring grandmother of seven.

Candie graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelors in Education and spent most of her life doing what she loved, educating young children. She had a passion for learning and loved to see the look on children’s faces when they did too. In retirement she learned to quilt and enjoyed the challenge of piecing together colors and shapes into a beautiful keepsake for family and friends.

As a child, Candie accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. While it is sad that her physical presence is gone from us now, we rejoice that she is in heaven today.

A memorial service to celebrate Candie’s life is scheduled for May 11th at Faith Community Church in Woodstock
