Cynthia Elaine Bivans, 72, of Woodstock, Georgia peacefully entered Heaven on November 18, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Cynthia was born in Alexandria, Louisiana December 16, 1949.   

She worked as a Sales Representative for several jewelry and retail stores. She was eccentric, eclectic and a true fashionista. Her laughter was contagious and she loved a bit of drama.  She had a brilliant mind and was always up on the latest news. In her younger years, she never left the house without looking like a million bucks.  She was sometimes referred to as Diamond Lil and Mimi.  She was a great listener and encourager.  She would give her wisdom and her laughter freely to you.

Cynthia was a member of Jayceesof Woodstock and a devoted volunteer at the Hope Center (Crisis Pregnancy).  One of her greatest joys in later life was her great-grandson, Josiah. Those two were always up to mischief and delight.  

Cynthia is survived by her daughters Kerrie Lynn (Turner) Anderson husband Marc and Lisa Turner,  grandson Jon Anderson, wife Amy Anderson and great-grandson Josiah, her sisters Georgia Ann Kelly and Ruby Teresa Williams husband Lyle, and many other family members and cherished friends.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her mother Helen Louise Bivans, and father Frederick Earl Bivans, Sr., and her much-loved brother “Freddie” Frederick Earl Bivans, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Salvation Army where her grandparents served as officers for most of their lives.  The family of Cynthia Bivans wishes to thank the many doctors and other personnel of Northside Cherokee Hospital and other medical team members for their kindness and great care.  She will be greatly missed.  Goodbye is not forever.
