Dayna Leighann Ledford Carter

Dayna Leighann Ledford Carter, 33, of Cartersville Ga. departed her earthly life May 14, 2026. She was the precious daughter of Lori Lowery and Billy Ledford Jr. Dayna was a country music loving, flip flop wearing, bonfire blazing, heck raising, no mouth filter, rowdy and rambunctious, take no crap, camo wearing kind of girl.

 Dayna had a special bond with her mother, and would fight for and protect her always. She often said she loved dogs more than people. And she meant it.But when she loved, she loved hard and deep with her whole heart. She met the love of her life that she adored and cherished, Riley Carter, and they shared 10 years of happy marriage.They have a baby in heaven and she had a sister Nicole Ledford that were both waiting to welcome Dayna home. She adored her service fur baby Baylee who was her partner in crime. She also loved bows, cooking shows, big trucks, the colors teal and pink, anything camo, and her only niece Lily Ledford. We find comfort that Dayna was so loving that she was an organ donor and her legacy will live on thru her recipients.

 Dayna is survived by her brother, Dakota Ledford (Morgan) of Ellijay, grandfather Floyd Siniard of Ellijay, Aunt Marsha Siniard of Alabama, Uncle Tim Lowery (Rhonda) of Silver Creek, stepmother Amber Ledford, special cousin Brittany Martin, and numerous other cousins. Dearly loved friends Ivey Pointer, Antione Woodard, Adam Tibbetts, Taylor Ferguson, and David. 

Visitation will be at Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 S. Main Street Acworth, GA 30101 Thursday May 21, 2026 from 6-8pm, and graveside services Friday May 22, 2026 at Sunset Memory Gardens in Cartersville Ga at 11am. Attendees are asked to meet at the graveside prior to graveside service time.
