Debra “Debbie” Lyn Beert (August 31, 1954 - October 21, 2025)
On the evening of October 21, 2025, with her husband Jim by her side,
Debbie passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with
ovarian cancer. Debbie was born on August 31, 1954, and spent her life bringing joy to those around her in every aspect of her life.
Debbie was a woman whose heart knew no limits, always caring for others, always smiling, and always finding joy in making those around her happy. Her laughter could fill a room, and her kindness left a mark on everyone she met. She took great pride in her children, finding her greatest happiness in watching them pursue their passions whether it was on the field, the court, or in any of their many activities. Her support never wavered, and her love was the steady foundation behind every success and every moment shared.
Her grandchildren (Mackenzie, London, Evan and Samuel) were the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, especially in their younger years when her home was filled with their laughter and the warmth of her care. She created a place where love and joy lived side by side, and those memories will be carried forever in the hearts of her family.
In addition to her family and friends, Debbie was devoted to work. She brought incredible energy and efficiency to her places of employment, where both employers and customers looked forward to interacting with her. She spent a part of her career in the banking industry, and then as Administrative Assistant to Robert Bowden at Robert Bowden Inc. For over twenty-five years, everyone at RBI found her contributions invaluable and she was irreplaceable.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her but remembered with smiles, stories, and the same laughter she gave so freely. Her legacy is love, plain and simple, and the many lives she brightened through her gentle spirit and giving heart
She was predeceased by her parents, (Thomas and Effie “Mozelle” Argo) to whom she devoted much love and care. She is survived by her beloved husband Jim Beert who did everything he could to support her and bring her comfort. She is also survived by her two children: Bryan Cornett and Amy DuBois and four grandchildren: Mackenzie Cornett, London Crowe, Evan and Samuel Schorr.
