Donald Joe Hightower Ii

Donald Joe (Joey) Hightower II of Cartersville, GA passed away at his home following a long battle with illness on October 20, 2023.

Joey was born May 9, 1974 in Gadsden, AL. He was preceded in death by his Dad, Donald Joe Hightower and his grandparents,  J.D. and Nobi Hightower and Roy Williams, Sr and Rubye Harris Williams.

Joey is survived by his Mom, Anne Lance and his sisters, Tara Burns (Gerald) and Andrea Orzechowski (Greg), niece Zoe Burns and nephews Zane Burns and Joseph Orzechowski, wife Deborah Hightower and stepdaughter Jena Stringer.

Joey was a very talented builder, specializing in wood trims and fireplace mantels. He enjoyed all phases of building, capable of building structures from the foundation to the roof top. He enjoyed camping and spending time at the lake when he was able and watching TV, movies and listening to music.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
