Doris Ann Keith

Mrs. Doris Ann Keith, 86, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026. 

Originally from Friendsville, Tennessee, Doris is the daughter of the late Charles and Grace Gideon. Doris lived in Marietta, GA most of her life with her husband of 64 years, Cecil R. Keith. 

She is survived by Cecil and their only daughter, Ginger K. Wallsinger. 

Doris retired from Wellstar Kennestone Hospital after working for 34 years in the Medical Records Department. She loved her work, and took great pride in her many years of service. The true joy of Doris' life was her family and friends. She dearly loved her only granddaughter, Lily Grace of Austin, TX. After Lily's wedding in April of 2025 to Matthew Jennette of Dickson, Tennessee, Doris exclaimed over and over, "Oh, I wish we could do the wedding just one more time!" 

Doris is also survived by her son-in-law (but like a son) Jeffrey F. Wallsinger, 2 sisters, Karen (Mike) and Jama (Larry), several nieces and nephews, many friends, and 3 granddogs, Rudy, Bucky, and Beatrice. 

She will always be remembered for her jolly laugh and her love of fun and life. Residing in Acworth, GA at the time of her death, Doris was a member of Summit Baptist Church. 

A private family gathering is planned for later this year. The family would like to thank Wellstar Hospice Care of Kennesaw Mountain for being truly amazing.
