Douglas Edward Marlin
Douglas Edward Marlin, age 63, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on November 4, 2024.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Carol Marlin. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Marlin; his children, Sasha Anne Freeman (Evan), Lydia Ware (Steven), and Tanner Marlin (Caroline); his sisters, Suzan Smith (Brad) and Nancy Ridge (Larry); and eight cherished grandchildren, Ennsley, Liam, Ezra, Raylan, Duke, Magnolia, Willow, and Saylor.
A proud graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in music, Doug was employed by ABM Industries at West Georgia University. He also served as Minister of Music at Hope Fellowship Church in Cumming, Georgia, where he had a lasting and profound impact on his community.
In lieu of flowers, Doug and Donna requested that donations be made in his memory to Hope Fellowship Church, 2300 Bethelview Rd, Ste 110-347, Cumming, GA 30040.

: A private family ceremony will follow at Providence Cemetery in Cartersville, Georgia.
Doug will be remembered for his love of music, devotion to his family, and unwavering faith. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
