Eugenia "Genie" Wilkerson Eplin

Eugenia Wilkerson Eplin (Genie) age 71, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends March 13, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don, her son Travis McBurnett, and her parents, Francis and Frances Wilkerson. She was a native of Atlanta. After graduating from North Springs High School, she became a medical assistant and worked at Urban Family Practice for 39 years. She had a lifelong love of horses, was devoted to her family and to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her son, Ryan McBurnett (Brenda) daughters: Crystal Eplin (Craig Moulder) Heather Eplin, Donald Eplin and Stacy Vasquez (Jason) 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren on the way, sister Ellen Busbia (Gene).

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
