Faye Elizabeth Poore Robertson

Faye Elizabeth Poore Robertson, age 91, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Born on August 22, 1935, in Woodstock, Georgia, Faye was the only child of Dorothy Brown Poore and Joseph Chester Poore. She grew up in Acworth and graduated from Acworth High School in 1952. Faye spent much of her working life serving her community as the secretary at Acworth Elementary School, where she worked for 27 years.

Faye was married to Harold Lee Robertson, and together they raised three children, Mark, Joey, and Kim. Family was always an important part of Faye's life. She especially enjoyed caring for children and animals, reading in her spare time, and, later in life, traveling and camping. She was also an active member of Summit Baptist Church, where she participated in many church activities and enjoyed the fellowship of her church family.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Kim Robertson; her daughter-in-law, Kelly Robertson; and her grandson, Chris.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Lee Robertson; her sons, Joey Robertson and Mark Robertson; her mother, Dorothy Brown Poore; and her father, Joseph Chester Poore.

Faye will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her many years of service to the children and families of Acworth Elementary School, her love of animals, and the friendships she made throughout her life. Her 91 years were filled with family, faith, service, and many treasured memories.

She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends for a visitation and viewing on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM followed by her funeral at 3:00 PM in the True North Building on the campus of NorthStar Church, 3413 Blue Springs Rd., Kennesaw, GA.
