Hattie Brannon

Hattie “Lou” Brannon, 85 of Kennesaw, passed away on January 31, 2022.  Lou was an active member of Wildwood Baptist Church, in Acworth.

Lou was retired from Wellstar Kennestone Hospital after 35 years as a secretary.  She was an avid gardener and loved cutting her grass on her riding mower.  Loved all of her family being together, especially the holidays.  Momma was always on the hunt for a good deal or bargain.  She loved all kinds of animals but especially her beloved dog, Bentley.

Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Brannon, and her son, Charles A. Brannon, and brother Doyle Ballinger.

She is survived by daughter Sheila Sanders (Greg) of Acworth, daughter-in-law Dainne Brannon, of Acworth, grandson Joey Brannon (Jamie) of MS. Granddaughter, Dena Starnes (Kelly) of Acworth, grandson, Hunter Sanders of Acworth, 3 great-granddaughters, Tatum, Lily & McKenna, all of MS.  Brothers, Kent, Leon(Nancy), James(Linda), Charles(Linda), Billy Ballinger and sister Shirley Kelley (Bobby), many nieces and nephews, all from TN.  

A memorial service will be held on February 6th, 2022. Visitation will be held from 12-2:00 and service will begin at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 S. Main St. Acworth, GA.  Pastor Rick Cadle will officiate.
