Helene Theresia Horgan

September 12, 1961 — May 30, 2026

Cartersville, GA

Helene Theresia Horgan, age 64, passed away unexpectedly. Her loss is deeply felt, and the absence she leaves behind is immeasurable. Born on September 12,1961, in Fort Dix, New Jersey, she lived a life defined by selflessness, humor, a love of baseball, and an unwavering devotion to her family.

Helene is survived by her beloved husband, Pat; her children, Ryan (Kailey) and Erin (Wes); and her cherished grandchildren, Lilah, Callan, Millie, and Jack (Erin and Wes), along with a granddaughter (Ryan and Kailey) on the way. She is also survived by her mother, Helene, and her brothers, Mark (Shannon) and Joe. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank.

Helene was the very definition of selflessness. She gave of herself fully and without hesitation, always placing the needs of others before her own. Nothing made her prouder than her kids and grandkids, and nothing brought her more joy than loving them and being there for them in both the big moments and the quiet, everyday ones. Her happy place was with her family, watching the Braves with Pat, and relaxing outside.

She showed her love through action: listening without judgment, helping without being asked, and giving without expecting anything in return. Her care was constant, her devotion unwavering, and her love unconditional.

Helene leaves behind a family and countless friends, who she considered family, who adored her and will carry her example forward. Her kindness and generosity will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren, shaping their lives in ways both seen and unseen.

She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered.
