James Erwin Davis, known to everyone as Jim, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, at the age of 68. He was born on October 5, 1957, in Smyrna, Georgia, and later made his home in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Jim worked in manufacturing for more than 40 years, retiring from Anheuser-Busch in 2022. He was known for his hardworking nature and the steady, reliable way he approached life. He also had a good sense of humor and was someone people could count on. Whether he was fixing things or spending time outdoors, Jim brought the same dedication to the things he loved.
Above all, Jim cherished his family. He is survived by his wife, Terri, his sons, Jeremy and Nick, his beloved grandchildren, Lincoln, Everett, Cora, and Scarlett, and brothers Tom and Danny. He especially loved time with his grandchildren and found joy in being with them. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling with Terri, and those moments meant a great deal to him.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Evie Lee and Al Ray Davis. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his warm humor, and the unwavering support he gave to the people he loved. His presence brought comfort and strength to his family, and his memory will remain a lasting part of their lives.
A casual gathering of family and friends will be held on August 16 th , from 10:30 to 1:30 at 4210 Legacy Park Circle, Kennesaw, GA. Drop ins are welcome. In lieu of flowers, a monetary donation can be made in Jim’s name to Aloha to Aging. www.alohatoaging.org/donate-now/
