Jeannettee Ann Crider Smith
"Grandma"
July 20, 1933 – October 16, 2024

Jeannettee Ann Crider Smith, lovingly known as "Grandma," passed away peacefully at her home in Acworth, Georgia, on October 16th, surrounded by her devoted family. She was 91 years old.

Born:
Monroe, Louisiana, on July 20, 1933

Jeannettee was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Crider and Blanche Wilkerson Crider of Monroe, Louisiana; her brother, John Crider of Arkansas; and her sisters, Elizabeth Bell of Texas and Francis Brown of Monroe, Louisiana.

Jeannettee found joy in watching classic movies, listening to classical music, and exploring American history. A true John Wayne fan, she delighted in observing the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks that visited her yard. She shared a special bond with the family cat, “Wilson,” though she often humorously called him “Charlie.” She was known for her love of fresh garden tomatoes, which she enjoyed by the pound. With a mischievous sense of humor, she was fond of playing rummy, working on crossword puzzles, and reading. To most of her family, she was simply “GRANDMA.”

Jeannettee will be remembered as a hardworking, curious, God-fearing woman who placed immense value on family. She will be deeply missed by all, leaving a space in our hearts that cannot be filled. We find comfort knowing she has joined her loved ones and her heavenly Father, free from pain and suffering.

Survived by her children:
Linda Sue, Mary Ann, and Jewell Steven

Grandchildren:
Anne Renea, Danai, Seraiah, Nickolas, Jessica, Erik, Alexandria, Dallas, and Ryan

Great-Grandchildren:
Tommy, Abigail, Cody, Aiden, Isabella, KJ, Jhett, Noah, Luka, Charlotte, Owen, Quinn, Sophie, Luna, and Julius

Great-Great-Grandchildren:

She is also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

May she rest in eternal peace. Until we meet again.
