Jerry Richard Williams

Jerry Richard Williams, age 70, was born in December of 1954 to Thomas Richard Williams and Josephine Atkinson Williams, and passed peacefully on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, at 2:32 in the afternoon. He took his final breath in the arms of his daughter Heather, surrounded by his loving family at home in Cartersville, GA. Jerry shared many years and a deep bond with Monnetta Williams, the beloved mother of his children. He was the father to five children: Tommy Williams, Jerrica Williams, Heather Williams, Melissa Paschall (Anthony Paschall), and Haley Jo Martin (Jeremy Martin). He was also a proud grandfather to twenty-two grandchildren and great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren, each one of them a treasured part of his life. Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate the life he lived and the lasting impact he had. He lived in the moment and did things his own way—a trait that made him unforgettable. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts, Jerry will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on June 21st, 2025 at Creekside Fellowship Church, 585 Old Alabama Rd SE

Cartersville, GA at 2:00pm. Dinner to follow in the fellowship hall.
