John J. Boscoe, 87, drew his last breath on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 7:15 pm at Tranquility Hospice in Marietta GA. As the husband of 42 years to Claudia, father to Belinda, Grandpa to Dillon and his wife Haley and Great Grandpa to Isla, he was much loved and will be greatly missed. John was pre-deceased by his parents Harvey and Julia Boscoe, his brother Harvey Boscoe, Jr, his first wife Rosmary Boscoe and son Christoper Boscoe. John was born in Minneapolis, MN; attended Roosevelt High School and excelled in gymnastics, graduating in 1955. He then joined the Air Force, trained as a jet mechanic and was stationed at Chateauroux Air Station, France, where he met his wife, Rosemary. When they returned to the States in 1959, he came home with a French wife, baby son Christopher, standard poodle and Renault car. Belinda was born in Minneapolis. John started working at the very young age of 12 in various restaurants, in high school he was manager of the Airport Drive-in.. He worked with his parents who owned Airport Hardware. After returning home from France, John worked a short time for Northwest Airlines. He went on to become a successful salesman with Olivette Underwood, named to the President's Club, 1964; Encyclopedia Britannica Educational Corporation was Sales Man of the Year, 1972; Checkpoint Systems, Award for being an outstanding human being as well as superb salesman and manager, 1981. In 1987 he received a patent for an innovation made to their security system for protecting stores and libraries. When he turned 50, he decided to start his own business Concepts Unlimited Inc in Philadelphia area, where he sold ink and toner in an up-and-coming market. His grandson Dillon now continues that business. John loved to fish, and on his first date with Claudia took her to a trout farm, which showed him she was a good sport. He took many fishing trips to Quebec Canada with friends as well as other locations. After growing up in Minneapolis, MN he lived in various places: Kansas City KS, Rolling Meadows in Chicago area, Atlanta GA, Glen Mills PA outside of Philadelphia and then back to Atlanta. John will be entombed at the Georgia National Military Cemetery in Canton, GA
