Jonathan Justin Factor, born on September 13, 1980, in Long Beach, California, passed away on May 23, 2026, in Cartersville, Georgia. He was a devoted and respected member of his family and community, whose life was marked by dedication, humor, and profound kindness.

Jonathan proudly served as a veteran of the United States Navy, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty and patriotism. During his military service, he pursued his passion for science and engineering, studying Nuclear Engineering in Goose Creek, South Carolina. He was also an alumnus of Hoover High School in San Diego, California. His professional career included a valued position as a Utility Operator for Anheuser Busch, a role he held with pride since 2017, demonstrating his unwavering work ethic and dedication.

Those who knew Jonathan remember him as a man of great humor and warmth. His children fondly recall him as a jokester and a comedian, always ready with a quip to brighten the day. Despite his wit, he possessed a heart of gold, always willing to help anyone in need. His wife Monorum Dith reflects on him as the most selfless person she ever met, a pillar of support who lived every day to ensure the happiness and well-being of his family.

Jonathan’s love extended beyond his family and career; he enjoyed hobbies such as golf and fishing, and had a good-natured attempt at surfing which his wife recalls with affectionate laughter. He was also an avid Chargers football fan, embracing the joy and camaraderie the sport brought.

He is deeply mourned by his beloved wife, Monorum Dith, and their children: Jameson Factor, Garrison Factor, Miliana Factor, and Gracelyn Factor. He is also survived by his mother and step-father, Vanessa Kurtz and Martin Kurtz, his father James Factor, and siblings Elena Servin, Noel Factor, Daniel Factor, Alexander Factor, Andrew Factor, Katherine Factor, Emiliana Lozano, James Factor Jr., and Naejener Factor as well as his best friends, Jimmy Devore and Jeff Baker.

Jonathan's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering commitment—a devoted husband, a loving father, and a dedicated friend. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jonathan on Sunday, May 31st, 2026 at 4:00pm in the chapel of Georgia Funeral Care located at 4671 South Main Street in Acworth, Georgia.  The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 2:00pm until the service hour at 4:00pm.
