In Loving Memory of Jose Jesus RodriguezToday, we gather to celebrate the beautiful life of our dad, Jose Jesus Rodriguez, and to remember the love, kindness, laughter, and joy he brought into the lives of so many.Jose Jesus was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. But to those who knew him, he was so much more. He was someone who could brighten a room with his smile, and once he started talking, he could give his children a speech that seemed like it could last for hours. He simply enjoyed talking to people, sharing his thoughts, telling stories, and being surrounded by those he loved. His presence was something you could always feel.Throughout his life, Jose Jesus created so many memories that we will carry with us forever. We will remember his laughter, his stories, his sense of humor, and all the special moments we shared with him.And yes, he could be a little moody sometimes—but that was part of who he was. We loved and respected him for his strong personality and for always being true to himself.Dad was also one of the hardest-working people we knew. He took pride in working with his hands and never seemed afraid of hard work. One of his greatest passions was his love for plants and gardening. He enjoyed caring for his plants, watching them grow, and spending time in his garden accompanied by our mom. It was one of the things that brought him happiness, and it will always be a beautiful part of the memories we have of him.Dad had his own special way of showing his love.One of the things we will always remember is the way he gave our mom so many nicknames. He could always come up with another one, and even though she may not have always admitted it, deep down we know Mom loved every one of those nicknames. Those little moments between them are memories we will treasure forever.Although our hearts are heavy today, we are grateful for the time we were blessed to have with Jose Jesus. His life touched ours in ways that words cannot fully express. The love he gave will continue to live on through his family, his friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.He especially loved his daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sisters, brothers, and grandchildren. His love for his family was a special part of who he was, and the memories he created with each of them will remain in our hearts forever.We may no longer be able to see or hold Jose Jesus, but his memory will always remain with us. We will honor his life by loving one another, cherishing our time together, sharing his stories, and carrying forward the love and kindness he showed to others.Dad, we will miss your voice, your stories, your laughter, your strong personality, and even those long talks that sometimes seemed like they would never end. We will miss the little things that made you who you were—the things that may have seemed ordinary at the time but now mean so much to us.We will miss seeing you in your garden, caring for your plants, and doing the things you loved. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, 11:00 AM, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Cartersville, GA.  The family will receive friends prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the church.
