Kare Leigh Tuggle

Karen Leigh Tuggle, 71, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 28, 2026. She was born March 25, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia and was raised by her beloved mother, Jerre Johnson.

She obtained her radiologic technologist degree and served her patients for many  years, until her retirement. Everyone who knew her loved her. She had an infectious spirit, a laugh that was contagious, and led her life with love and compassion. She had a huge passion for music, reading, animals, and loved to travel; especially to the mountains and the beach. She also had a passion for fashion and was always perfectly matching, whether she was lounging around the house, or going out on the town.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jerre Johnson and her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Samples.

She is survived by her brothers, Craig and David Johnson; sister-in-law, Marilda Johnson; daughter Christina Samples; son Jonathan Tuggle; daughter-in-law Taylor Tuggle; granddaughter, Adrianna Cooling; and grandson in-law, Christopher Honea.

Karen will be forever greatly missed by her family and friends.
