Kyle B. Taylor

Kyle B. Taylor, 53, of Acworth, GA, passed away peacefully in his home on July 17, 2024.
On October 13,  1970, Kyle was born to LTC Sam and Ann Taylor in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. With his lungs not quite  developed, he had a rough start but grow to be the amazingly strong person we knew. Kyle was an  Environmental Technician by profession. In his field, he was regarded as the person to fix anything.  Kyle was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He is survived by his parents, LTC Sam and  Ann Taylor, his sibling, Joy and Nelson Breeden; as well as his nieces and nephews Taylor, Colton, Lily,  and Logan, who all adored him. He also leaves behind amazing extended family, known as “the regulars,”  at The Black Bear Tavern.

Kyle graduated from Henderson High School, in Atlanta, GA. As a young man, he enjoyed wrestling,  fencing, but most importantly being outdoors. He was an Eagle Scout, first and for most; ALWAYS  PREPARED. Kyle enjoyed time at Philmont, Boy Scout Camp as a camper and later at other camps as  staff, giving back to the next generation. He continued this into adulthood where he has spent a week each  summer at Camp Narroway, teaching young ladies outdoor skills and home care and repair where he was  fondly known as Uncle Kyle to many. He always seemed to find abandoned kittens or flying squirrels alike  and bring them home to care for them. Kyle was called on by many to help move, fix, or create something  needed. He was the one everyone wanted to be near in case a disaster hit.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church; 633 St. John Court, Knoxville, TN 37934  on August 9, 2024, at 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at the St. John Neumann columbarium.  In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Camp Narroway Scholarships in  memory of Kyle. Checks can be made payable and mailed to St. John Neumann with AHG TN0413 K  Taylor memorial in the memo line.
