Leroy “Lee” Henry Wilson

Mr. LeRoy “Lee” Henry Wilson, age 77, of Acworth, Georgia, died January 16, 2017. Son of the late Henry Wilson and Gladys Loken Wilson was born September 11, 1939, in Aitkin, Minnesota.

He was united in holy matrimony to Rosemary “Bunty” Smith on September 05, 1959 in Bushey Hertfordshire, England. They were married fifty-eight years and blessed with four children.

Mr. Wilson served twelve years in the United States Air Force from 1958-1970 and was a Vietnam War veteran. Following his military service, Mr. Wilson’s primary occupation was as a heavy equipment salesman.

He peacefully departed this life Monday, January 16, 2017 in Acworth, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roger Wilson.

His life will be forever cherished in the lives of his loving wife and their children: Kim (Gary) Johnston, Tracy (Brian) Dudley, Darryl Wilson and Paul Wilson; as well as their ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, sister Helen Sharp, sister Sheila Reich, and a host of devoted extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2017 12:00 PM, at Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation Services, Acworth, Georgia.
