Luis Efrain Martinez, 52, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 15, 2023. Luis, better known to his siblings as “Pito” was born in Ponce, PR to Luis Martinez Green and Sonia I. De Jesus Muniz. Luis graduated from Trumbull High School and soon after had a call to serve our country in the U.S. Army.
Luis moved to Middleburg, FL, where he was a resident for over 25 years. His personal outlook on life to be the best at whatever you do, brought him great joy as a skilled carpenter. During his leisure time, Luis was a talented guitar player and former band member of “Faith” and “Dippin Skinny”.
Luis was a devoted son, brother, husband, and father. He is survived by his lifelong best friend, Kelly Forgacs Martinez of Kennesaw, GA, and children Justin, Halen, and Lucky Martinez. He will be greatly missed by his siblings Annette Martinez and Alex Martinez of Florida, and William & Xiomara Angelini of San Antonio, TX.
His nieces Alexa, Taylor, and Jade Martinez and nephews Lyric, Amadeus, and Leo Angelini and Stepfather Jesus Veloz will forever remember him with his silly jokes and lack of dancing skills.
Luis is predeceased by his in-laws, Priscilla Forgacs of Kennesaw, GA and John Garvin of Middleburg, FL. A celebration of life memorial service will take place on Wednesday, December 20th at 6:00pm at the Georgia Funeral Care in Acworth, GA.
