Lynda Marie Smith

Lynda Marie Smith born April 15, 1949 to Ivery L Scott and Millard Smith in Indianapolis IN. Lynda went to Public School 37 then matriculated at Chrispus Attucks High School.

Lynda got a Bachelor's degree from Tennessee State University. Shortly after graduation to accepted a position as a Retail Buyer withPaul Harris. Lynda also worked for Target in Kansas Cit Missouri, Nordstrom and moved to Georgia to become a Buyer for Macy's.

As a teenager Lynda enjoyed hanging out with close friends in a club called the Debutants. The members of the Debutants became lifelong friends.

Lynda is preceded in death by her Parents Ezekiel and Ivery Pollard, her natural father Millard Smith. a brother Terry Pollard, and nephew Duane Pollard Jr..

Lynda confessed Christ at a young age at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. D B Dudley.l, Indianapolis, IN.

She is survived by brothers Duane and Lamont Pollard, brother Kenny Smith nieces and nephews, Aunt Rochelle McCanns, and cousins Kimberly Harrell and Deborah Shoots. She leaves a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Lynda was an avid reader and loved books on black history and successful entrepreneurs. She made it her business to visit as many black history museums as possible.

Lynda Smith loved life and lived life to the fullest.
