Marcia Mae Rooks, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, at the age of 73. Marcia was the devoted wife of the late Gregory James Rooks, whom she married on August 20, 1984. She is now reunited with her beloved Greg in eternal peace. Marcia was a loving mother to Holly Miller (Chris), Craig Rooks, and Jay Williams, and a proud grandmother to Jett Miller, Stone Miller, and Lacy Williams. Renowned for her generous heart and welcoming spirit, Marcia had a gift for making everyone feel valued and loved. She found immense joy attending her grandson’s baseball games, crocheting, and capturing life’s moments through her love of photography. Marcia is survived by her children, grandchildren, and many extended family members and dear friends who will continue to honor her memory and legacy.

A celebration of Marcia’s life will be held this Sunday, July 5th from 1-3 at Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 South Main Street, Acworth, GA 30101. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Organization for Autism Research, a cause close to Marcia’s heart.

Marcia will be deeply missed, but her warmth, kindness, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
