Melanie Pate Holcomb

A life celebration for Melanie Pate Holcomb will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 12:00 PM at 3900 Bartow Carver Rd SE, Acworth, GA 30102. Melanie, 75, passed away September 14th in Acworth at home with her family by her side.

Survivors include her four children, Julia York (husband Jason, deceased), Patrick Holcomb, Misti Smith and husband Walden, and Sam Holcomb and wife Lisa Brown. Melanie is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Melanie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Holcomb, parents Della and Samuel, brothers Ray and Bobby and sister Mary (Bo).

Melanie was a teacher in Meridian, Mississippi. All who had the pleasure of knowing her admired her sweet heart. She will be missed by her friends and family.
